Our New Name
In summer 2026, Okawa Kagu Dot Com's international e-commerce store began a new chapter as Interi-An.
Interi-An is a name we created by combining the English word "Interior" with the Japanese word "an" (庵). It shows that we are interior specialists, and the sound "An" carries three ideas we want our furniture to bring into your home.
Our Vision
Our vision is to make Okawa a world-renowned gateway to Japanese furniture craftsmanship.
As a company founded in Okawa, Japan's leading furniture-producing region, we believe the city can become the place where people from around the world discover the very best of Japanese furniture craftsmanship.
To achieve this, we aim to:
- Make the Okawa Furniture Exhibition one of the world's premier furniture exhibitions.
- Inspire young people from around the world to come to Okawa to learn about Japanese furniture craftsmanship and interior design.
- Establish Okawa as the internationally recognized home of authentic Japanese furniture culture.
- Connect outstanding craftsmen and furniture-producing regions across Japan through Okawa, bringing the finest of Japanese craftsmanship to the world.

Testimonials
"I recently purchased the Paulownia Kimono Storage Box (Regular, 2-tier) to store my daughter’s coming-of-age kimono.
My wife was amazed by how lightweight yet spacious it was, and we were equally impressed by the finely detailed craftsmanship.
Thank you for creating such a wonderful product!"
"Since my home has a compact layout, it has been difficult to find off-the-shelf furniture with a shallow depth. Therefore, I decided to place a custom order. I requested a quote from the person in charge about three times, and each time, they provided quick and helpful guidance. Thanks to their assistance, the furniture fits perfectly in the room, and the layout looks great and tidy. The walnut color that matches the room’s atmosphere is absolutely lovely, and I use the furniture with a delighted heart every day.Not only is the furniture beautifully designed, but I am also extremely satisfied with its functionality. Unlike my previous furniture, I was surprised by how light and easy it is to open and close."
"I purchased a two-layer Paulownia kimono box that is BEAUTIFUL! It arrived quickly, in great shape, and exactly as described! I will definitely order another one as my Kimono accumulates."
"I was very anxious about purchasing made-to-order items online, but when the item was delivered, my joy far exceeded my relief. The craftsmanship and walnut wood quality are perfect. It fits perfectly with the atmosphere of our home. The gentle texture when I touch it with my hands is also wonderful. I can truly feel that the craftsmen paid great attention to every detail in its creation. As expected from furniture from the renowned Okawa area, and I’m so glad I made this purchase.Thank you very much."
