A Refined Alternative to Standard Kimono Cases – Yakikiri Paulownia Storage

Single-Tier & Double-Tier Types

Differences from Standard Kimono Cases

  1. Exterior Surface

Standard cases are usually left uncoated (unfinished), but our storage box undergoes a special process of wood burning and wax finishing. This not only prevents discoloration and sun damage but also enhances the natural wood grain, giving it a refined and elegant appearance.

Additionally, the surface is smooth to the touch, and no soot or residue will come off.

  2. High-Strength Box Joint Construction

There are various ways to assemble wooden boxes, but our product features a box joint (Arare-gumi), ensuring a highly durable and sturdy finish characteristic of solid wood.
