Create a comfortable Japanese-style space without renovating your room.

This modular tatami mat can be placed directly on hardwood or other flat flooring, making it easy to create a relaxing space for sitting, stretching out, or enjoying a kotatsu.

The surface is made with igusa rush grown in Kyushu, Japan. Carefully selected Japanese igusa has a fine texture, natural resilience, and the familiar fresh scent traditionally associated with tatami rooms.

Each mat also contains a special mite-control sheet and comes with two connectors, allowing multiple mats to be arranged together more securely.

    The surface is made exclusively with igusa rush grown in Kyushu, Japan. Japanese-grown igusa is known for its thick outer layer, fine fibers, comfortable texture, and natural resilience.

    A special sheet inside the mat is designed to suppress mite reproduction by 99%. It is placed beneath the igusa surface together with a 15 mm felt layer.

How long does shipping take?

Is there a warranty period?

Our products come with a one-year warranty.

All of the furniture we offer is crafted in factories within Japan and meets high-quality standards. In the unlikely event of an initial defect or manufacturing issue, please get in touch with us within 7 days of delivery. After reviewing the situation, we will provide free repair or replacement.

Please note that damage from customer use, stains, natural aging, or misuse is not covered under the warranty.

What kinds of customization are possible?

Our company is based in Okawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture, a region in Japan renowned for its furniture craftsmanship. We can accommodate a wide range of custom requests, including changes to size, wood type, or even fully custom-made orders.

Can I place multiple orders?

Multiple orders are possible. If you would like them shipped together, please place your orders simultaneously. (If you place separate orders but contact us by email, we can also arrange combined shipping.)

Do you have a physical store?

We have a showroom and office in Okawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture, one of Japan’s leading furniture-producing regions. Wood samples are available, but please note that not all products are on display.

If you contact us in advance, we can prepare the items you wish to see. Factory tours are also available upon request (advance reservation required).

Closed: New Year holidays, Obon, special events, private bookings, Saturdays, and Sundays
